About the Role MCHC is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Certified Medical Assistant to serve as our Infection Prevention Coordinator, leading infection prevention and employee health initiatives across all MCHC sites. This role plays a key part in protecting the health and safety of staff, patients, and visitors while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and evaluate infection prevention policies and procedures Monitor infection risks, track data trends, and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory review. Serve as point of contact for employee health regarding contagious conditions exposure management and return-to-work guidance. Partner with Environmental Services and clinical teams to maintain safe and sanitary care environments. Coordinate immunization and TB testing programs (e.g., influenza, COVID-19, RSV) Maintain accurate staff immunization and testing records in compliance with HRSA, OSHA, and CDC. Lead or assist in outbreak investigations and collaborate with public health partners. Participate in respirator fit testing, training, and incident management response.
