Has overall responsibility for directing, administering, and managing the hospital-wide infection control program. The Infection Prevention Coordinator is a professional nurse with advanced knowledge, skill, and competence in Infection Control. Serves as a resource to all hospital departments, medical staff and community as it relates to preventing disease transmission in all ages (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
