POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Infection Preventionist conducts targeted infection surveillance activities, including investigations and responses to outbreaks among patients and/or personnel. They recommend and teach appropriate preventative measures to control infections, ensuring compliance with regulations and accreditation standards. This role involves monitoring infection trends, educating staff, and collaborating with regulatory bodies to uphold organizational safety and compliance.
