ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Informatica Developer You will be performing data migration activities using ETL/R tools, participate in multiple workshops to understand data structures, and analyse new system data requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with Data, Business, and Technology teams to design, implement, test, refine, and support integration workflows and mappings using IICS/IDMC. This includes, but not limited to, use of mapplets, rule specifications, joins, task flows, and parameters within Data Quality, and ETL/R frameworks.
• Understand source and target applications and how the migration will fit into the new system and identify challenges of the program.
• Develop a deep understanding of business products, its processes, and its data sources.
• Document all mappings, mapplets and rules in detail.
• Build reusable Informatica assets, transformations, and data flows.
• Analyse source systems for Data Quality issues across different data quality dimensions, report andcommunicate issues, and recommend remediation options to data owners.
• Analyse target systems data requirements to inform source to target mapping requirements.
• Document source to target data mapping requirements.
• Implement and educate Informatica best practices to other developers.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements and objectives.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all data integration activities.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL/R processes.
• Write SQL queries and scripts for data transformation and validation.
• Develop shell scripts for automation and orchestration.
• Document data integration processes and workflows.
