THE TEAM

The Information and Knowledge Resource Centre (IKRC) provides ASIC teams with authoritative information, records, intelligence, and knowledge services to support compliance and strategic innovation. Within the Registry & Intelligence group, Intelligence Support delivers operational assistance for enforcement and regulatory activities by sourcing intelligence through authorised data searches, helping drive ASIC’s intelligence-led regulatory approach.

As an Information Analyst, you will focus on service delivery through using restricted information sources to provide actionable intelligence to ASIC stakeholders.

  • Location: Sydney or Melbourne
  • Salary starting from $81,396 (depending on experience) + 15.4 % superannuation
  • Temporary, 12 month role

THE ROLE

As an Information Analyst, you will:

  • Provide tactical intelligence to enforcement and regulatory teams, ensuring compliance with national policies and privacy requirements, including occasional after-hours availability.
  • Conduct complex national searches across ASIC’s intelligence sources, meeting SLA timeframes.
  • Analyse and summarise data into accurate, actionable intelligence reports.
  • Liaise with external agencies to access confidential information under existing agreements and MoUs.
  • Advise stakeholders on handling sensitive intelligence and information management.
  • Maintain records of all searches to support reporting and compliance audits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements and build strong working relationships.
  • Contribute to process improvements and national IRC projects.
