SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience of document scanning, indexing, or information capture.
  • Good ICT skills with the ability to use scanning software and records management systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and information handling.
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Responsibilities

WHAT’S INVOLVED WITH THIS ROLE:

The Information and Capture Technician will support the effective management of information by preparing, scanning, and indexing documents to ensure accurate and efficient digital records are maintained. The role involves handling sensitive information, ensuring data quality, and supporting colleagues with information capture processes to meet organisational and legal requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, scan, and index a range of documents in line with organisational standards.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of captured information, identifying and correcting errors.
  • Support colleagues and service areas with document capture requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service when responding to queries related to document capture or record management.
