Teqniq is searching for a Information and Capture Technician to work in the public sector.
37 hours per week.
3 months contract.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain digital capture (scan) systems and solutions and/or similar computerised systems to produce high quality digital images - the vast majority of files captured are of highly confidential i.e. HR files, Finance files, Legal Services Court Files, BMS forms and large format plans & drawings etc.
  • Accurately prepare files to ensure file contents correspond with file title and other file specific information such as the National Insurance numbers.
  • Scan, validate, verify (quality assure) and release data from the Corporate Scanning Solution to both internal and external customers systems.
  • Validate large volumes of files with accurate information to enable retrieval. This process includes the use of the Oracle Database Connection look up table to select Nation Insurance numbers to populate the validation fields.
  • Input data and information accurately onto the database (Egizmo) to produce summary sheets and unique bar codes identifiers for each job.
  • Accurately search various database types i.e. Framework, to confirm file requests from Social Workers, Police and Solicitors, that are required for investigations are held by NCC and provide an appropriate response.
  • Produce both analogue and digital information which meets the standards required by external audit organisations.
  • Assist in the collection and management of the workplaces confidential waste, ensuring that these waste materials are disposed of in accordance with our security protocols, ISO standards and corporate procedures.
  • Other task/duties will be required but these will fall within the general area of responsibility and grade of post, this will require the post to work flexibly and to a high standard.
  • Liaise and with internal and external service clients such as Social Workers, Police and Solicitors in order to meet their requests.
  • Manage the file transfer and archive of digitally captured data and highly sensitive data via secure solutions.
  • Support the advancement and development of staff via motivational coaching within their service area and skill sets of the post.
  • Work within data protection guidelines, ISO and service standards.
  • Maintain equipment in accordance H&S legislation and manufactures guidelines.
  • Work flexibly across Solutions4Data (scanning service) and the Mail & Despatch service disciplines as required by your manager in order to fulfil the business needs and customer requirements across these service areas.
