SAIC IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AN INFORMATION ARCHITECT TO JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM THAT SUPPORT NIH.
Job Description: Manages use of process improvement, reengineering methodologies, and internet-related methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. Responsible for transitioning of existing organizations or project teams in accomplishing the organization goals or project activities and objectives through improved use of internet and other automated processes. Manage data modeling activities, development of modern business methods, identification of best practices, creating and assessing performance measurements. Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer. Principal coordinator between customers and multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts and application of best practice including e-business practices. Provide daily supervision and direction to other contractor business reengineering specialists and web architects.
The project is headquartered at the SAIC office in Reston, VA but this role is 100% remote. While this is a telecommuting position, there may be occasional travel required
Responsible for performing day-to-day management of assigned projects that involve teams of data processing, information system, and management professionals. Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned projects. Supports members of assigned project teams. Duties may include managing, facilitating and tracking activities within and across projects and programs; maintaining standards, processes, tools, and templates; and assisting project team members in performing tasks effectively and efficiently. Prepares and presents status on project schedule, project costs, project deliverables, project issues and risks, and issue resolution and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience, may accept an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Masters and 7 years of experience or a PhD or JD and 4 years of experience.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
