JOB SUMMARY

KaiHonua, LLC has an immediate opening for an Information Assurance Engineer Senior to join our rapidly growing team. The employee shall administer technical support for both secure and unsecure networks. The employee will also survey network diagrams and other artifacts and collaborate with WAN engineers and security engineers to determine if vulnerability scans are being conducted on all network assets. In addition, the employee shall provide support to identify means of overcoming gaps in vulnerability scanning, support the preparation of vulnerability scanning reports

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:

  • Under general direction, responsible for all activities relating to information assurance procedures and systems.
  • Develops information systems assurance programs and control guidelines.
  • Confers with and advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures and resolving technical problems, priorities, and methods.
  • Consults with and advises other sections regarding internal controls and security procedures.
  • Prepares activity and progress reports relating to the information systems audit function.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
  • Track, measure and evaluate AESS Compliance across the enterprise.
  • Attend required meetings, telephonic and in person on all AESS related concerns.
  • Resolve AESS related incident tickets
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
  • Additional duties as required.

Compensation Minimum: $80,000
Compensation Maximum: $90,000

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or other related discipline is preferred or have equivalent experience.
  • Five to 7 years’ experience
  • GICSP or Cloud+ or GCED or PenTest+ or Security+ or GSEC

ABILITIES

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines and find preventative solutions while troubleshooting
  • Manage multiple complex technical initiatives simultaneously
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates accountability

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
