Allianz is seeking for experienced and forward-thinking Information and Cyber ​​Security Manager for the harmonization and alignment of cyber security investment budget and portfolio with projects conducted globally across Allianz Group and locally within Operating Entities. This role acts at the intersection of Group, Shared Services (Cyber ​​Defense Center, Operational Information Security) and Operating Entities with understanding of cyber security, technology and financial services processes, it is responsible for ensuring that our digital environment is designed and built with security at their core, by design and by default.

As a key member of the Group Information Security team, you will drive strategic and tactical initiatives with focus on increasing detection within cyber-attacks, and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders to ensure that security is embedded throughout the entire lifecycle of digital environments.    

What are you made of?

What will make you succeed in the position:

• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Business Information Systems, Economics or related field is required. Master degree required
• Professional certifications in Information Security (eg CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP), Process and Service Management (eg ITIL) as well as Project Management (eg PMI, PMP)
• Practical experience in threat and risk-based solution design: Strong ability to apply threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure design principles to ensure that digital environment is resilient, compliant to law and regulation, and aligned with organizational risk appetite
• Knowledge of current IT and (related) security technologies and controls (eg Cloud, AI, Software Development toolchains)

• Communication and Influence: Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex security topics to both technical and non-technical audiences and drive secure-by-design mindset across teams
• Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with the ability to assess technical risk, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend secure, practical solutions in complex environments
• Strategic Thinking and Technology Enablement: Proven track record in translating business objectives into secure technical architectures, enabling innovation while maintaining robust cyber resilience
• Cross-Functional Collaboration experience, working with business stakeholders, operational security, enterprise architecture and development teams to embed security into IT and business projects and solutions   
• Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
