  • Join Technology & Operations, a division within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS)
  • Salary range of $113,574 to $125,720 pa plus superannuation and leave loading.
  • Ongoing role based in the Sydney CBD, NSW

The Information Management team at DCITHS is seeking an Information Management Analyst to play a pivotal role in how we manage, protect, and share information across the Department. In this role, you’ll:

  • Ensure the effective management and maintenance of the Department’s information systems, including Objective & Content Manager, our Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) and record keeping procedures.
  • Guide and support staff on best practices and procedures for information management and use of EDRMS.
  • Coordinate and collaborate across teams to support the creation, discovery, and protection of records.
  • Safeguard information by upholding confidentiality, integrity, and availability in line with Department security policies.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Information Management, you’ll be a champion for records and information management—helping to optimise the way our department stores, accesses, and leverages information.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in the operation, administrative support and system improvements of EDRM systems.
  • Experience in maintaining records in accordance with the State Records Act 1998 (NSW) and other relevant legislation

  • A proactive mindset, taking initiative to solve issues quickly.
  • Training skills, with the ability to coach staff and end users on EDRMS and departmental requirements.
  • Collaboration skills, working with your team to manage information assets and meet compliance obligations.
