 Position Summary This position will be responsible for Threat Analysis, System Monitoring, Vulnerability Identification and Mitigation, Incident Response, System Implementation, Integration and Testing, Upgrades and Maintenance of Security Systems, Endpoint Protection Management, Implementation and Enforcement Cybersecurity Policies and Strategies.   Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Be informed of the constantly changing threat landscape and vulnerabilities affecting the organization and effectively and expediently remediate risks in accordance with the security the requirements of the business. 2. Protect & Secure Company Assets including Systems, Network Infrastructure and a variety of endpoints. 3. Monitor IT Security Systems, Identify and Mitigate Risks and Manage Incident Response. 4. Implement and enforce strategies and policies that reduce threats to the Company’s networks, data, workflows and business operations. 5. Review and analyze logs and security system data on a consistent and timely basis and report regularly on the status of the company’s security systems, attack landscape, vulnerability status and mitigation efforts. 6. Contribute to the development and delivery of Cybersecurity Training to the company’s end user community. Promote best practices for information security. 7. Conduct threat research and analysis and make recommendations to enhance the company’s efforts to reduce risk, respond to incidents and breaches and address cybersecurity related threats. 8. Project related tasks and initiative-based activities which align with the company’s cybersecurity goals and objectives. 9. Adapt and adjust to evolving the ever-changing threat landscape, and provide the most effective resolutions to the cybersecurity challenges affecting the company and its employees.   Competencies 1. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.  Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM. Occasionally hours outside of these normal working hours are required. Required Education and Experience:   Required: Associate degree or 2-3 years’ equivalent work experience. Preferred: Microsoft Security Certifications, CompTIA Security + or equivalent, Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CISSP or equivalent. Graduate/Undergraduate Degree - Computer Science with an emphasis on IT/Computer Networking.   3 – 5 yrs Corporate IT Networking/Security Role. Preferred: Microsoft Security Certifications, CompTIA Security +, Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CISSP or equivalent, certifications. Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, Azure Conditional Access Policies. NOTE: This position will be heavily involved in the company’s efforts to obtain and the company’s CMMC Level 2 Certification. Experience with email filtering & protection systems, best practices and threat prevention systems.
