QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent training).
  • 1–2 years of experience in information security (financial industry experience preferred).
  • Experience with cloud security and cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with incident response, vulnerability assessments, and network security.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention, and scripting.
  • Security certifications (Microsoft, IT, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments across systems, vendors, and applications.
  • Monitor and respond to cybersecurity alerts using SIEM, antivirus, and email security tools.
  • Investigate and document security incidents and breaches.
  • Analyze logs and data to detect threats and produce reports and alerts.
  • Support audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans.
  • Collaborate on security projects and implement secure configurations.
  • Assist in developing and updating security policies and procedures.
