We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Information Security Analyst to join our Information Security team. This is a key role supporting the University¿s efforts to embed clear information ownership, accountability, and improved security across our systems, infrastructure, and processes.

• Engage with staff and students to assess needs, improve information handling, and support best practices. -Contribute to the development and promotion of a consistent information security policy framework.
• Collaborate with IT Services and wider University departments to ensure effective implementation of governance controls. -Support the delivery of our information security awareness programme. -Provide practical advice on applying security and governance policies to new systems and projects. -Assess risks and highlight areas for improvement using recognised frameworks and methodologies.
