ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to join Fiserv in Toronto. This position requires a security-focused DevOps background and a proven track record of delivering secure and scalable platform solutions. The role will operate with significant autonomy, working across business units, clients, and vendors to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Triage, investigate, and analyze security alerts, events, and incidents, taking corrective actions or escalating as required.
  • Provide technical expertise to enhance security processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Lead and support activities including:
  • Access reviews
  • Vulnerability assessments
  • Secure-SDLC practices
  • Third-party security assessments
  • Penetration testing and external audits
  • Security Steering Committee initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement of the security program, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security by design in systems and applications.
  • Provide security operations support, occasionally outside of business hours.
