Job Description We are preparing for our 2026 Summer Internship Season! Job Title: Information Security Intern Job Location: 17725 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77094 CBAC does not offer visa sponsorship. Job Overview: The Information Security Intern will support key security initiatives across the organization. This role assists with compliance efforts, policy audits, device lifecycle strategies, incident‑readiness exercises, and documentation, while collaborating closely with IT and Security teams. The intern will gain hands‑on experience with modern platforms, exposure to cybersecurity practices, and mentorship from seasoned professionals. Responsibilities: Assist in various projects which may include: PCI Compliance refresh for brand stores Auditing and tuning of existing security policies Developing and refining Device Lifecycle Management Participation and coordination for hosting table top exercises Documenting relevant metrics Collaborate with CBA team members rolling out new initiatives Provide general support for changes and management of existing platforms and processes What you’ll gain: Real-world experience working on a nationally recognized brand Exposure to data security, risk and governance practices and concepts Mentorship from experienced professionals in the spaces of general IT, Information Security and networking Opportunity to expand your working knowledge both tactical and strategic approaches to security posture Experience in a positive business culture Qualifications Education Currently enrolled in a Cyber Security related branch of computer science preferred but not required. Skills An intermediate knowledge of modern platforms: Microsoft 365 Google Workspace Highly proficient using modern computer systems with the ability to learn new software and/or systems An intermediate knowledge of Cyber Security concepts An understanding of how and when to use discretion and maintaining data security Soft skills: Teachable Self starter Contribute to the positive culture of CBA Communicate clearly, politely and with intentionality Work well in a team environment Diligent in maintaining assigned responsibilities Remain calm and maintain a helpful demeanor Comfortable researching for an answer if no documentation exists Physical Requirements: Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning.
