JOB DESCRIPTION:

NDi seeks an Information Systems Security Specialist with 5+ years experience securing and protecting network systems, applications, and data. This resource will join the security operations team to address ongoing BODs, VPRs, NFRs, Cybersecurity risk posture and Heat Map scores.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • This role is onsite (5days onsite / week)
  • Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BS in Computer Science
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Tech savvy with a strength in research to resolve vulnerabilities without much oversight or guidance.
  • Experience integrating and configuring security tools. Experience with information assurance (IA) frameworks, including NIST SP 800-37
  • Principal level understanding NIST’s Cybersecurity Framework process Ability to provide and present technical security guidance to leadership POA&M
  • Experience with applying patches, secure configurations
  • Experience with tools such as Splunk, Crowd Strike, BurpSuite, Counter Attack CISSP, Security+, CAP, Cloud+, CISA, or CEH Certification
  • Remediating CVE’s and hands on experience with Tenable. Splunk, BigFix, BF Web Reports, Burp Suite, Azure Cloud Security, and CrowdStrike experience is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security threats
  • Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, DOJ regulations, and ATR internal policies
  • Identify vulnerabilities and collaborate with domains for remediation
  • Process Foreign Travel Requests
  • Maintain documentation related to security policies and procedures
  • Conducting ongoing vulnerability management activities to assess potential threats
  • Coordinate with technology staff in identifying and remediating system vulnerabilities
  • Work with IT to ensure appropriate procedures and processes are in place for detecting and preventing system intrusions
