The Identity Protection program within the Cyber Security Transformation Portfolio focuses on strengthening and expanding identity and access controls across Technology teams. As the lead Information Security Principal Consultant, this role is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex identity and access management solutions, while working with senior stakeholders across the Group to define strategy and prioritisation for IAM initiatives. This role will also lead cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end technical outcomes within agreed timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with information security policies and control objectives. Please note, this is a highly technical role with strong involvement in strategy and overall program ownership, requiring deep technical expertise, strong analytical capability, and effective stakeholder engagement skills. What do I need? Over 8 years experience as a Senior Development Lead in an Identity and Access Management, Information Security or equivalent role. Hands on experience with running a development squad, implementing and supporting enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions in a highly regulated and complex environment. (Eg, MFA, CyberArk) Demonstrated ability to work with operations, control owners, engineering and architecture teams. Build relationships with key customer stakeholders, become a trusted advisor and help drive appropriate decisioning across key groups. Experience managing a team of IT, security risk professionals. Strong understanding of information security best practice standards and guidelines (e.g. ISO 27001). Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to information security. Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, security gap analyses, and compliance reviews for complex enterprise environments. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, collaborating effectively across business, technology, and third-party partners. Proven leadership in mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Experience delivering program level reporting to the program team and executive stakeholders. Why join us?
