We are seeking an Information Security Specialist (m/f/d) for an internationally operating technology company specializing in secure communication solutions for security-critical and military applications in Ulm. This is a direct placement opportunity. You will develop security concepts for complex IT systems and oversee their implementation in accordance with the BSI IT Baseline Protection guidelines. Information Security Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

Creation and further development of information security concepts for IT systems in the military environment according to BSI IT baseline protection.
Conducting assessments of protection requirements and risk analyses, as well as deriving suitable security measures.
Management and monitoring of the agreed measures within the company and in cooperation with the customer
On-site evaluation of complex systems and documentation of the safety-relevant results in the planned SAVe system
Coordination of security-related issues with public clients, the German Armed Forces and relevant accreditation bodies.

Your qualifications:

Completed vocational training in a technical field with relevant further education or a completed subject-related degree
Professional experience in creating IT and information security concepts for systems in the German Armed Forces environment
Expertise in BSI IT baseline protection, risk management and evaluation of complex IT architectures
Practical experience with relevant tools for information security concepts, in particular SAVe
Working style with a high degree of personal responsibility and structure, as well as willingness to travel and willingness to undergo a security clearance according to SÜG (Ü2)
