Information Services Specialist is responsible for the accurate setup, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ERP data and related systems, ensuring operational efficiency and data integrity across the organization. This position plays a key role in supporting IT operations, product launches, and interdepartmental reporting through meticulous data management and system oversight. Working closely with the Controller, the role involves evaluating and implementing system updates, managing software and hardware resources, and providing cross-functional training and support. The ideal candidate demonstrates a proactive approach to troubleshooting, process optimization, and collaboration, contributing to both daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives. Responsibilities also include vendor coordination, compliance with software licensing, and execution of special projects as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· A degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, relevant fields, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
· Extensive knowledge and experience with SyteLine and ShopTrak Required.
· Efficiency in Microsoft Office Required
· Efficient data entry skills Required.
· Familiarity with Excel and formulas required, advanced knowledge preferred.
· Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
· Experience with SSRS and BarTender is preferred.
· Regular and predictable attendance.

· Responsible for accurate entry, setup, maintenance and updates of all new items within the ERP database.
· Responsible for updating all costs and selling prices with precision and timeliness in ERP database.
· Participate in new product launch meetings, contributing expertise to optimize ERP system processes for efficiency and accuracy.
· Support company-wide resolution of computer issues in a timely manner, coordinating with external IT providers as needed.
· Compile and deliver monthly reports for various departments, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to support organizational decision-making.
· Manage and maintain various data records for multiple departments, ensuring accessibility and historical accuracy.
· Research and evaluate new software, hardware, peripherals, and IT-related projects, delivering informed recommendations to the Controller.
· Partner with the Controller to plan, implement and communicate system updates and enhancements effectively with minimal disruption to the team whenever possible
· Work with a team to evaluate and enhance SyteLine and ShopTrak functionalities, driving optimal software performance and consistently seeking improvements in their utilization.
· Train key personnel to develop Syteline expertise, fostering proficiency across the organization.
· Analyze external reports and work with the Controller to build business cases for automating report generation when opportunities arise.
· Execute special projects as directed by the Controller and SoundTech’s Management Team.
· Maintain and record software licenses across the organization to ensure compliance and functionality.
· Maintain and record all computer end points updating lists accordingly.
· Oversee daily interactions and coordination with external vendors for printers and phone systems, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.
· Oversee and manage the recycling of electronic equipment.
· During system upgrades, provides after hours/on-call IT support, managing communication between SoundTech and external support to ensure minimal downtime and uninterrupted business operations.
· Contribute to a collaborative team environment, delivering results to support shared goals.
· Demonstrate urgency, accountability, and pride in delivering high-quality work.
· Perform all duties and responsibilities in person at the designated work location; remote work is not available for this position.
