This Position is Contingent upon Award Position Overview: This position supports the VA Caregiver Support Program (CSP) Financial and Legal Services contract as an Information Specialist. The Information Specialist provides information technology (IT) and systems support to ensure the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of contract-supported platforms, tools, and data processes. The role supports service delivery, reporting, cybersecurity compliance, and coordination between contract staff and VA-approved systems in accordance with contract requirements. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (82% of employee’s premium paid by company, 25% towards dependents) HSA / FSA Medical Plans PTO Flexible Work Environment and Encourage Work/Life Balance 401K with Company Match Observes all federal holidays Professional Development/Tuition Reimbursement Program Annual Career Development Process Job Type: Full-time/Exempt Location: Hybrid – Stafford, VA Office Anticipated Start Date: March 2026 Position Responsibilities: Provide IT and systems support for contract-related tools, platforms, and applications used to deliver caregiver financial and legal services Maintain and troubleshoot contract-specific systems used for data collection, documentation, reporting, and secure information exchange Support data integrity, availability, and continuity of operations for contract deliverables and reporting requirements Coordinate with internal teams to resolve system access issues, user permissions, and role-based access controls Support cybersecurity and information security compliance in alignment with VA Handbook 6500, HIPAA, and Privacy Act requirements Assist with the implementation and maintenance of secure data transfer and storage processes approved for contract use Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) supporting contract operations Support system-related portions of audits, QASP monitoring activities, COR data requests, and incident response efforts Serve as a technical liaison between contract staff and VA-designated technical points of contact, as appropriate Requirements Bachelor’s degree required (Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field) Previous experience providing IT or systems support in a healthcare, government, or regulated environment Demonstrated experience supporting platforms that handle sensitive data, including PII and/or PHI Ability to pass Tier-1 background investigation. Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience supporting VA, VHA, or other federal service contracts Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, NIST, VA information security requirements) Experience with access controls, system security, and audit support Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Ability to support remote teams and cloud-based or securely hosted systems KSA Integration is an equal opportunity employer.
