Description The Information System Security Manager (ISSM) III oversees cybersecurity program implementation, governance, and risk management for mission and enterprise systems supporting NSWC Crane objectives. This role leads strategy, policy enforcement, compliance oversight, and operational coordination to ensure information systems maintain secure and accreditable postures throughout their lifecycle. This position is contingent upon award. Award is expected around the end of the year (2026). Requirements Graduate degree from an accredited university, or equivalent qualifying pathway listed in eCRAFT ISSM III. - Validated 5+ years of specialized master-level experience in Specialty Area 72 (Information Systems Security Management). - Required certifications per eCRAFT ISSM III (e.g., GSLC, CISSP, CISM, CAP, or CASP) and maintenance of continuing education requirements. - Active USG-issued Secret clearance (or interim), with eligibility to obtain and maintain TS, as contractually required. - Demonstrated ability to manage IT security strategy, compliance, risk treatment, policy implementation, and stakeholder coordination. - Strong written and oral communication skills for technical guidance, compliance reporting, and leadership briefings. - Senior experience directing cybersecurity program execution across complex DoD/Navy environments. - Proven ability to integrate RMF, continuous monitoring, and incident response requirements into operational workflows. - Experience supervising cross-functional security teams and coordinating with system owners, ISSOs, and engineering leads. - Strong background developing security documentation and executive reporting for command and program leadership.
