The Opportunity:

We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Information System Security Officer (ISSO), SME. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partner G33 MCSD located in Wiesbaden, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS. This position is located OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the cybersecurity of the EMITS 2 program, including systems and enclaves
  • Supports and prepares DSRN Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assess and Authorize (A&A) accreditations in the approved record management system for Government approvals, performs compliance reporting, and conducts periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with the security authorization package
  • Develops and maintains security artifacts in accordance with DoD Instructions, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards, and applicable Government regulations
  • Coordinates any changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of a system with Cybersecurity, Task, and Mission Partner (MP) Leads
  • Applies IA expertise to conduct vulnerability assessment, trend analysis, and vulnerability management
  • Receives, reviews, acts on, and responds to disseminated orders within the expected timeframes
  • Identifies cybersecurity vulnerabilities and assists with the implementation of the countermeasures for them
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments
  • Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives
  • Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge
  • May supervise others

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently hold a Secret clearance with the ability to maintain
  • BA/BS + 13 years
  • Certification - 8140 - CISM or CISSO or FITSP-M or GCIA or GCSA or GCIH or GSLC or GICSP or CISSP-ISSMP or CISSP or Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated or Training
  • Possesses comprehensive expertise in information systems security, with experience implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and maintaining security authorizations in compliance with DoD, NIST, and Government regulations.
  • Capable of supervising cybersecurity activities and applying advanced knowledge to conduct vulnerability assessments, trend analysis, and implementation of countermeasures across complex systems.
  • Exhibits leadership skills required to plan cybersecurity efforts and coordinate changes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Showcases expert-level proficiency in developing and maintaining security artifacts and maintaining compliance with Government security authorization.
  • Possesses deep domain knowledge and technical expertise in information assurance, allowing for effective management of multiple complex work assignments.
  • TESA eligible
