Description
We are seeking a mission-focused Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support NORAD-USNORTHCOM (N&NC) within the N&NC IT Enterprise Services (NITES) contract. ISSO candidate will play a critical role in ensuring cybersecurity compliance across the enterprise by implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, maintaining security posture, and managing system authorizations.

• Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and procedures.
• Apply RMF in accordance with DoD guidance and manage system lifecycles through eMASS.
• Implement and validate compliance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and ingest to eMASS
• Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities, including POA&M development, control implementation, and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and cybersecurity personnel to evaluate system security posture.
• Document and maintain system security artifacts in accordance with NIST SP 800-53.
• Conduct periodic reviews and support audits and inspections
