QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Experience with vulnerability scanning, testing and remediation.
• Experience in environments requiring compliance with frameworks such as STIGs, RMF, or NIST 800-53
• Experience creating and delivering A&A documentation.
• Experience maintaining cyber security documentation.
• Hold either a CISSP or Comptia Security + CE certification.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Fluent knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 security controls, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and DoD‑Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in systems administration.
• Minimum 2 years’ hands on experience remediating Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scan results.
• Minimum 2 years’ hands on experience configuring McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (McAfee ePO) and/or McAfee Endpoint Security (McAfee ENS).
• Minimum 2 years’ hands on experience with Virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.

• Monitor and assess security posture, identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities.
• Respond to and remediate security incidents effectively and efficiently.
• Secure development environments by implementing application security architecture and conducting evaluations of software for security compliance.
• Document security processes and procedures for future reference.
