OVERVIEW:

Creek Technology is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to provide expert cybersecurity support across enterprise IT systems, pending contract award. The ISSO will lead efforts in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authorization to Operate (ATO) lifecycle activities, enforce security policies, and ensure compliance with federal and DoD directives to maintain the highest levels of information assurance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience serving as an ISSO or in a related cybersecurity role supporting DoD or federal government programs.
  • Strong understanding of RMF, ATO processes, and federal cybersecurity policies.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

  • Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities
  • Support all phases of the RMF/ATO lifecycle, including documentation, assessments, and validation.
  • Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST SP 800-series, DoD directives, and enterprise security instructions.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and POAMs.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations for hardware and software requests to ensure security compliance.
  • Support Inspector General (IG) inspections and other audits by preparing documentation and evidence.
  • Monitor, assess, and enforce cybersecurity controls across enterprise IT environments.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, engineers, and program managers to identify and mitigate security risks.
