Description
SAIC is currently hiring multiple Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) To help support the Army Enterprise Service Management Platform (AESMP) program.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree and zero (0) years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, distribution, coordination and maintenance of plans, instructions, policies, guidance and standard operating procedures necessary for implementation of the Command’s IA program and serve as the subject matter focal point for the Command’s IA program.
  • Ensure that the Command’s or organizations supported users receive initial and annual DoD Cyber Awareness Challenge training by verifying completion in the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) or the organization-specific system.
  • Assist the supported ISSO in ensuring that a Certification and Accreditation package is prepared and maintained in accordance with (IAW) the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), or the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Manage and maintain the program and project Risk Management process, Risk Management Plan and Risk Register. Host the monthly Risk Management meetings with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure that implementation and verification of compliance with the command’s or organization’s SOP address the reporting of security violations and incidents to the servicing Regional Computer Emergency Response Team (RCERT) IAW Section VIII (incident and intrusion) of AR 25-2 and Department of Defense Manual 5200.01, Volume 3: DoD Information Security Program.
  • In coordination with the supported ISSO, ensure that distribution of incident and security violation reports is not limited to the supporting RCERT. Notification must be made in writing to all levels of leadership, as established in the command’s policy and procedures.
  • Implementing and enforcing IS security policies.
  • Overseeing all IASOs to ensure they follow established IS policies and procedures.
