VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is seeking an Information Systems / SharePoint Analyst II to support DISA PEO Cyber customer located at Ft. Meade, MD. This is a remote position. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Provide knowledge management, SharePoint/website development and maintenance support with diverse, complex and rapidly changing operational requirements
• Manage mailbox and provide SharePoint administration support including processing permissions, troubleshooting large data transfers and responding to requests and inquiries
• Support specific requirements for hardware and software evaluation, systems management, or system development and maintenance.
• Work with developers and assist with testing the functionality of portfolio SharePoint sites
• Support customer and divisional users in multiple online forums such as: DISA Workspaces, and DoD Enterprise Portal Service (DEPS) (based on MS SharePoint)
• Identify SharePoint problems and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and resolve issues
• Consult with customers and train users to ensure smooth implementation and functional performance of new systems, procedures, or organizations
• Collect, evaluate and organize information and data on problems or procedures, including present operating procedures
• Prepare and maintain functional and operating documentation
• Collect, monitor, measure, and report organizational performance and effectiveness information
• Prepare monthly status reports monitoring the quality assurance, and progress/status reporting
• Work closely with IT portfolio team and developers and independently and effectively communicate with portfolio managers, cross functional teams and users
• Communicate complex ideas both orally and in writing, clearly and concisely
• Dependably and effectively manage multiple tasks, and projects to meet project schedules and directorate mission objectives
• Provide IT support using best practices in conjunction with existing policy and procedures within a Government infrastructure environment
• Provide support to establish and maintain adequate information resource management solutions
• Prepare presentations and attend and participate in meetings and briefings, and track/closeout action items

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree AND 4 years of DoD / federal IT program or CIO or CTO support experience OR High School diploma AND 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Experience supporting SharePoint users to manage, update and contribute to SharePoint functionality, effectiveness, and improvements
• Experience providing SharePoint support to ensure optional information access, retrieval, classification, storage, and tracking conditions are met
• Experience with DoD Enterprise Portal Service (DEPS), Intelink Portal, NIPR/ IPR, DISA.MIL, DISA.SMIL.MIL content updates and site structure (i.e., Wiki, SharePoint, and IntelDocs) preferred
• Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Teams
• Experience using or eager to learn front-end web development technologies such as Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate to provide knowledge management support to new or evolved versions of knowledge management portals
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required
  Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA’s total compensation package for employees.
