JOB SUMMARY

As an Information Technology Database Administrator, you will help shape the future of our data infrastructure and ensure positive experiences for all users. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and maintain robust database systems that power our applications and ensure seamless performance and scalability. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining our data warehouse environments, optimizing performance, and supporting technology adoption across the organization. This role is 100% in the office in Erlanger, KY.

These skills will be used to:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable database structures and schemas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and analysts to design and implement robust database solutions aligned with business goals
  • Create and manage Microsoft SQL Server objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers
  • Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes (SSIS / Microsoft Fabric / Azure)
  • Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries
  • Perform database change management, version control, and performance tuning
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of databases through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery planning
  • Document design specifications, implementation details, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and compliance
  • Support cloud-native data solutions and integration pipelines in Azure and AWS
  • Champion best practices in database security, access control, and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 4+ years of SQL Server database development experience
  • Knowledge of software systems, infrastructures and Data Warehouse concepts, and ETL development
  • SQL DBA certification
  • C++ or C#.net development skills

Physical demands and work environment

  • Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier).
  • Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
