QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, non-profit management or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst or a similar role, including proficiency with SaaS products and in supporting Microsoft 365 platforms
  • 1+ years’ Salesforce experience required including administration, setup, implementation, configuration, enhancements and product lifecycle management. Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud experience preferred, particularly in grantmaking or program delivery contexts.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and related project management strategies
  • Strong knowledge of business process analysis, requirements analysis, and software design
  • High-level working knowledge of Information Security and Technology methodologies
  • Familiarity with business analysis techniques, including interviewing, brainstorming, modeling, risk analysis, estimating, and peer review
  • Collaborative experience with department representatives, program management, and managers to define and document requirements
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, strategic thinker with excellent multitasking, problem-solving and project management skills and the ability to effectively manage deadlines, track and coordinate multiple projects, ask probing questions and work independently within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Non-profit experience, Salesforce Administrator certification, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and Tableau software proficiency, database proficiency and certifications in Scrum Master and Six Sigma are all a plus
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director in end-to-end IT project management and analysis, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors for timely delivery while addressing project-related issues or delays
  • Develop, maintain, and update AKF’s Enterprise Applications, Microsoft 365 platforms and Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud for grantmaking encompassing fundraising, grants management, communications, financial and reporting systems
  • Assist in managing project requirements by maintaining communication between internal customers and the project team
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing IT systems and processes, identifying areas for efficiency improvement and propose solutions to enhance system capabilities
  • Oversee secure collection, storage, and analysis of kidney health and research data, ensuring data integrity and compliance, and generating reports to support decision-making and grant applications
  • Act as a liaison and project manager between AKF departments and the IT Team, translating complex business needs into requirements realizations
  • Ensure adherence to change control and management procedures within the project team
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, explaining IT concepts and solutions
  • Collaborate with the broader technology team to develop and deliver training programs for staff on new systems and technologies, including Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and other enterprise platforms, providing ongoing support and guidance for effective technology use while staying abreast of technological advancements in the healthcare sector
