The Information Technology Engineer designs, develops, implements and maintains LiveOnNY’s information cloud technologies, including Information Technology (IT) Systems, Infrastructure, Network, Security and Operations to achieve business objectives. The Information Technology Engineer is responsible for ensuring responsive, secure and scalable systems, overseeing IT projects and ensuring that IT delivery aligns with business goals. In this role, you will report directly to and work closely with the Chief Architect and the Vice President, Chief Administrative and Technology Officer. Responsibilities Technology Structure: Serves as the technical lead for design, development, and maintenance of technology as part of LiveOnNY’s systems, networks and applications. Develop and maintain robust, scalable IT solutions ensuring cross-platform capability and responsiveness. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing technology and networks. Transformation: Lead initiatives to modernize IT systems, adopt modern technologies and processes and integrate them into the business to foster innovation and improve operations. Security: Ensure the security of the company's information assets, implement security best practices, manage accessibility, and implement protocols providing protection of LiveOnNY’s assets. Team Leadership and Communication: Mentor the IT department's staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical business managers, stakeholders, and other teams to define requirements and resolve issues. Quality Assurance: Define and enforce technical standards, best practices. Risk Management: Identify and manage technological risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree a plus. 7+ years of progressive relevant engineering experience. Deep knowledge of relevant technology stack, e.g., Microsoft, Azure Administration, Azure Services, etc. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a technical team. Preferred: Expert knowledge of Azure administration, SharePoint configuration, Intune and Purview Administration.
