Salary Min Salary Max Overview The Information Technology Intern will participate in a structured rotational program across Cybersecurity, Help Desk, and Infrastructure teams within a regulated credit union environment. The intern will assist with daily IT operations while gaining practical experience in system support, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management. This role provides exposure to secure, reliable, and scalable technology platforms that support organizational operations and member services. Responsibilities Cybersecurity & Risk Support Assist with monitoring security tools, alerts, and dashboards under supervision. Participate in vulnerability scanning, patch validation, and security documentation. Reinforce cybersecurity awareness and safe computing practices across the organization. Support documentation for audits, examinations, and internal controls. Follow Cybersecurity playbooks for alerts and assist in creating new playbooks for different events. Help Desk & End-User Support Provide first-level technical support to associates, troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues. Monitor the Credit Union ATM network and escalate issues to vendors as needed. Accurately document incidents and service requests in the ticketing system. Follow escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution and minimal service disruption. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure consistent access provisioning. Infrastructure & Desktop Support Assist with deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Support standard operating systems, business applications, and secure endpoint tools. Maintain asset inventories and support standardized technology builds. Assist with infrastructure activities, including patching, server maintenance, and solution engineering. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, and classified as a junior or senior. Foundational understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and troubleshooting concepts. Strong customer service mindset and professional communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to following defined processes. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
