Description
The Tenth Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Tucumcari, NM is seeking applications for an Information Technology (IT)/Legal Assistant position. This position will primarily consist of duties related to IT work. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an information technology or computer science related field or other directly related field plus two (2) years of directly related work experience in information systems, and/or systems design and analysis. We will work with the right candidate if the education requirement is not met. The expectation is this person will have considerable knowledge of information systems technology, operating systems, network and systems applications, effective writing and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively document and execute procedures; effective systems and analytical skills, ability to analyze and recommend solutions to systems situations, ability to organize and prioritize workloads; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to effectively complete work projects to ensure user satisfaction; ability to create merge documents and create reports from our case management system. This person will also be required to assist in trial preparation and assist in high stressful situations to include courtroom settings. This candidate will also be tasked to act as a legal assistant in preparing legal documents and correspondence, performing data entry, merging documents, transcribing, maintaining calendars, providing customer service, contacting witnesses and performing other related job duties. Salary depends on experience. Expected Salary range of $28/hour to $34/hour plus all state employee benefits.
