JOB SUMMARY :

The IT Program Manager is a senior-level professional responsible for overseeing and managing complex task orders or projects across multiple technical and administrative disciplines, including engineering and systems development. With a minimum of 7 years of experience, the Program Manager ensures technical solutions meet performance, schedule, and cost expectations. This role requires interfacing with government representatives, managing personnel and subcontractors, and making high-level decisions to drive program success.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in program management for IT or engineering-based projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Strong planning and execution skills for large-scale technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and interfacing with stakeholders.
• Experience with federal government contracts and task order management.
• Knowledge of systems development, application programming, and technical project lifecycle.
• Ability to develop cost-effective solutions and monitor project performance.
• Authorized to negotiate and make binding decisions on behalf of the contractor.

• Oversee day-to-day management of assigned task orders or related systems.
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and engineering projects.
• Assign tasks to team members and subcontractors; track performance and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to contract requirements, quality standards, and cost-effective approaches.
• Identify and resolve issues, discrepancies, or risks to meet program goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the contractor and government representatives.
• Provide regular written and oral updates to contractor management and government stakeholders.
• Negotiate and make binding decisions on behalf of the contractor organization.
