POSITION SUMMARY

The Information Technology (IT) Systems Analyst is responsible to ensure the secure and effective delivery of IT services through the provision of Tier 2 technical and customer service support, system administration, and facilitation of IT services across end-user computing and cloud environments. They lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based database systems and applications, ensuring seamless integration, data integrity, and performance. The IT Systems Analyst plays a key role in the organization’s cybersecurity program through daily monitoring, backup administration, secure access management, and consistent enforcement of IT security controls. They collaborate with internal and external Agency partners to support the implementation of enterprise data architecture and management roadmaps, support reporting and analytics for data-driven decision-making, and ensure the reliability of critical systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two (2) year college diploma in Computer Systems Technology or related program of study
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in system, database, and security administration
  • Experience with MS SQL, Azure SQL, and cloud-based Data Platforms
  • Strong knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery procedures
  • Experience with application integration through data interfaces
  • Experience in business intelligence and data analytics using tools such as PowerBI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; demonstrated commitment to positive customer service experiences
  • Advanced software skills using the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook)
  • Highly adaptive, resilient, and responsive to changing circumstances
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, with a willingness to contribute and lead in the culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events for clients and their families/caregivers, colleagues, other community members and yourself
  • Demonstrates professionalism in dealing with highly confidential information and situations
  • Successful applicants will be required to provide:
