JOB SUMMARY:

The Carter Group is seeking a full-time IT Trainer to lead in-person and/or virtual training sessions, ensuring that users are well-equipped to use new IT systems. This role involves delivering engaging training sessions, customizing content for different user groups, assessing learner progress, and providing post-training support and troubleshooting. This is a primarily remote position with the ability to travel to New York City locations upon request.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and relatable manner.
  • Proficiency in training tools and virtual platforms for effective delivery.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to document training activities and report on progress.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Microsoft Office Suite or related software competence.

Experience:

  • At least three (3) years of experience delivering in-person and virtual training sessions, with a focus on engaging and interactive content.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate buy-in.
