The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the organisation’s IT systems and infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations. This role bridges business needs with technology solutions, supports users, manages vendors, and ensures cybersecurity and compliance. The title and remuneration will be commensurate with experience. Job Description 1. IT Operations & Infrastructure Oversee day-to-day IT operations including networks, servers, cloud services, hardware, and software Ensure high system availability, performance, and reliability Manage IT asset lifecycle (hardware, software, licenses) 2. Information Security & Compliance Establish and enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures Monitor cybersecurity risks and implement preventative controls Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. PDPA, ISO standards if applicable) Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning 3. User Support & Service Delivery Manage IT support services (internal helpdesk or outsourced) Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and user satisfaction Develop user guidelines, training, and documentation 4. Project & Change Management Lead IT projects such as system implementations, upgrades, and migrations Translate business requirements into technical solutions Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholders 5. Vendor & Budget Management Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors and service providers Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency 6.
