The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Information Technology Manager to join the team in Seal Beach, CA.
The Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S) Product Support Organization has an opportunity for an Application Development Manager. This organization supports the Space Mission Systems, and the manager will manage and coordinate activities that include 30 applications supporting Satellite development and production. The manager will work with program engineering, functional product managers, internal product/project managers, and other teammates to ensure the quality of delivered products and services that meet standards and supports business objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 10+ years of experience within information Technology
  • 5+ years of experience leading products and services in support of end users
  • 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
  • 5+ years of experience in a lead role such as project manager, team lead, product manager, product owner, or other similar lead roles

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience with IT organization, strategy, processes and tools

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required

Responsibilities
  • Develops and monitors metrics which identify and manage risks, issues and opportunities; and execute program plans
  • Communicates with the Business, Business Partners, and other IT teams across the enterprise
  • Manages and integrates employee activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees
