The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology Manager to join the team in either Renton, WA; Auburn, WA; Berkeley, MO; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Hazelwood, MO; North Charleston, SC; Mesa, AZ; Plano, TX; Saint Charles, MO; or Seattle, WA.
The manager within Global Sourcing and Vendor Management (GSVM) role reports directly into Information Technology (IT) Strategy and Operations and is responsible for managing and leading a team of highly skilled Sourcing and Vendor Management professionals along with external suppliers to ensure the business needs of IT are met.
The selected candidate will be responsibility leading the end-to-end sourcing process, building relationships, and working cross-functionally with indirect supply chain, invoicing Community of Excellence (CoE), portfolio leaders, service owners, functional leaders, cybersecurity, IT asset management, and finance. The candidate will also have responsibility collaboratively partnering with IT leaders and their service delivery organizations to solve business challenges.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) sourcing and supplier collaboration and contract management
- 5+ years of experience within information technology
- 5+ years of experience with project management
- 5+ years of experience with working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
