Description About HPF: Houston Precision Fasteners produces high strength, fatigue rated, close tolerance fasteners using materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel, nickel alloy, titanium, waspaloy, A-286, monel and multiphase. Our fasteners have supported mission aircrafts such as; Joint Strike Fighters, F/A 18 Super Hornet, and Falcon 9; just to name a few. We are dedicated to providing a superior product to our customers. Job purpose: The IT Manager will ensure reliable, secure, and compliant IT operations at HPF, acting as the local go to person for IT and as a stable interface with the Poggipolini Group IT function and external vendors (YourTechGuys), with specific attention to regulatory constraints (quality, certifications, ITAR/export control). Supervisory Responsibilities: An on-site leader to delegate assignments as needed to contractual/ third-party IT team (Your Tech Guys) and oversee and lead IT projects. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Operate and support the local IT infrastructure (servers, network, firewall, VPN, workstations, printers, Wi Fi) Administer HPF's Microsoft 365 environment (accounts, licensing, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, security policies) Monitor access (VPN, privileged accounts, security logs) and work with Group IT on scheduled audits Provide first and second level support to HPF users (hardware, software, connectivity, M365, ERP/production systems) Implement Group security standards (MFA, hardening, backup, patch management, antivirus/EDR) Coordinate day to day with YourTechGuys, ensuring transparency on changes, proper documentation, and verification of activities performed. Support compliance with regulatory and certification requirements (quality, cybersecurity, and relevant IT aspects of ITAR/export control, in collaboration with subject matter experts) Participate in internal IT audits, prepare required evidence, and follow up on corrective actions Maintain up to date IT documentation for HPF (diagrams, key configurations, local procedures) Technical requirements: 3–5+ years of experience as IT Administrator / System Administrator / IT Manager, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments Solid knowledge of: – TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls – Windows Server / Active Directory environments Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, security and compliance features) – Basic cybersecurity principles (MFA, least privilege, patching, backup, logging) • Experience working with external IT providers and multi-site setups is a plus Familiarity with, or strong willingness to operate under, regulated environments (ITAR/export control, quality, certifications) in coordination with the appropriate functions Soft skills: Hands-on, problem-solving mindset Ability to work independently while staying aligned with HQ and local management Strong communication skills with non-technical users, vendors, and leadership Excellent written and spoken English; ability to interact effectively with Italian HQ (knowledge of Italian is considered a significant plus but not mandatory) Employee Acknowledgement: The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by HPF employees.
