Position Summary:
Act as the leader for Phoenix Seminary IT Department, overseeing and maintaining all aspects of the seminary’s IT stack, and serving as the primary contact with IT vendors.
In addition, this position provides technical support for special events. This position manages two Information Technology Specialist positions who assist with online course development, system administration, and project implementation. This position assumes the traditional duties of a webmaster, which include ensuring proper site management, managing content updates, responding to problems with functionality or downtime, and working with the Manager of Communications and the seminary’s web development vendor for website improvements.
This position also includes educational technologist tasks assigned by the Vice President of Operations. Ensures the organization’s computer hardware, software, database management systems, and telecommunication services are working correctly. In conjunction with the seminary’s MPS, coordinates and configures systems to ensure they are performing at optimal speed. Meets with management teams to discuss how information technology can help the organization achieve its latest goals. Trains end-users on operating software, hardware, and databases. Oversees hardware and software installation, and trains the systems’ end users. Responsible for all identity access management activities. Creates, maintains, and troubleshoots all data exchange between softwares. Responsible for data management, forecasting, regression analyses, and reporting. Strives to integrate various information systems.
