Description JOB SUMMARY CHG Group, Inc. (CHGi) is the U.S. headquarters of Chemring Group PLC (PLC). The Information Technology (IT) Program Manager for CHGi is responsible for assisting the VP, Security and Information Systems with leading IT efforts to support enterprise initiatives focused on the ongoing transformation of CHGi and subsidiary business operations. The IT Program Manager will oversee multiple IT projects and ensure they align with the organization’s strategic goals by developing project plans, managing budgets, and tracking progress and performance metrics. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the VP, Security & Information Systems with leading IT efforts across the US business units IT Program Strategy and Execution – assist in the development and implementation of operational and strategic IT programs with defined objectives and roadmaps that are aligned with organizational goals Oversight and Coordination – develop project plans and oversee each to completion, to include supervising and coordinating teams working on multiple projects Resource and Budget Management – assist in the development, forecasting, and management of the IT budget with focus on resource and organizational efficiencies Licensing – forecast and ensure availability of licenses to support users and infrastructure Communication – ensure effective management of change to communicate with stakeholders and anticipate challenges and develop mitigation strategies prior to implementation Compliance – ensure existing and new projects comply with NIST 800-171 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Comply with all government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures Ensure compliance with the Chemring Operational Framework, Code of Conduct and U.S. Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Special projects and other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY N/A Requirements EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred CompTIA Project+ preferred EXPERIENCE Minimum of three years’ prior experience as an IT Project or Program Manager, systems analyst or other technical positions Demonstrated experience with project management tools like Microsoft Project for planning, tracking, and managing projects ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance commensurate with the level of facility clearance, as needed Strong time management and problem-solving skills. Organized, punctual, and deadline-driven Ability to work independently and prioritize work effectively. Team player who proactively pitches in where needed Proficiency with MS Office products Ability to identify key barriers/core problems and identify solutions Excellent verbal and written communications skills to effectively convey updates and feedback to various stakeholders PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Use of computer. Travel occasionally, up to 15%.
