Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions, a subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is currently seeking a Information Technology Senior Manager to join the team in Englewood, CO.
Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions is a leader in developing cutting-edge solutions that drive innovation and efficiency in the aerospace sector. Our software and data and analytics services empower airlines, business operators, governments, and pilots to optimize operations, and deliver exceptional passenger experiences.
The selected candidate will manage complex Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions Information Technology (IT) products and talents. The selected candidate will be supporting $1.2 billion software business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience with working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
- 3+ years of experience in a managerial role
- 3+ years of experience developing and executing comprehensive IT roadmaps
- 3+ years of experience in leading managers within and organization
- 3+ years of experience with financial forecasting and budget creation
- 1+ years of experience in Product Leadership, Product Operations, Product Management or Agile Project Management role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Cloud certifications such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with managing cloud infrastructure
- Experience with building beneficial supplier relationships
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Experience managing and supporting data centers
- Experience managing global teams
- Experience working in complex environment and matrix organization
Responsibilities:
- Manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities across IT including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees and first-level managers
