The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Information Technology Senior Manager to join the team in Berkeley, MO or Hazelwood, MO.
The successful candidate will be a leader of our Information Technology professionals supporting proprietary programs in the St Louis region to meet the needs of today’s warfighter. It is a fast-paced position within our Specialized US Infrastructure Operations team, leading new technology insertion, meeting new program commitments, and meeting our compliance and regulatory needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing integrated technical projects or teams across multiple computing platforms and organizations
  • 5+ years of experience working on and/or leading Agile teams
  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience communicating complex concepts clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with Infrastructure Operations
  • Experience coaching and mentoring peers and/or reports to continuous learning and improvement
Responsibilities
  • Empower teams so they can operate with a high degree of autonomy and self-organization, and deliver to business priorities
  • Manage the team and their deliverables, including projections for future needs, to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Work with managers to manage work priorities, facilitate skill assignments, and address people actions in order to maintain high performing work teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Manage technical debt to ensure products get and stay ahead of the technology obsolescence curve
