Manage hardware lifecycle planning, vendor coordination, and support activities Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Provide ongoing support for mainframe hardware, including monitoring and maintenance Support LPARs, Parallel Sysplex, Coupling Facility environments Performance monitoring and tuning as needed Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field. 10+ years of extensive z/OS system programming experience in large, complex mainframe environments. Deep expertise in z/OS architecture, internals, system programming, and advanced troubleshooting. Expertise in key z/OS subsystems (JES, IMS, Db2) Mastery of z/OS system commands, utilities, and automation tools Expertise in Connect:Direct Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts In-depth experience with IBM z/OS operating system (z/OS 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 3.1) z/OS Administration - user and security management (RACF), software installation and configuration, system monitoring, performance and capacity planning, problem resolution, and ability to ensure the stability and availability of the system The chance to use your skills and imagination to push the boundaries of what´s possible.
