This position is responsible for a wide array of engineering activities and services related to the coordination, design, building, preparation of engineering work packages, and maintenance of the California Public Safety Microwave Network (CAPSNET) system. This position coordinates and performs Information Technology services for CAPSNET to meet the critical operational requirements of the state under direction of the Engineering Unit Head for the implementation of Internet Protocol (IP) based technology and installation solutions for the deployment of Multi-Protocol Label Switching routing for the California Public Safety Microwave Network.

Working Conditions
Hybrid Telework: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Additional in office days may be required based on the business need.
