SUMMARY
Under direction of the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I), the IT Specialist I (ITS I) will act as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer. The incumbent takes ownership of the information technology systems assigned to him/her and performs a wide variety of tasks requiring regular innovative problem-solving. The incumbent works on complex information technology system problems and serves as the advanced technical analyst performing complex analytical studies. The ITS I is responsible for information technology systems which serve multiple areas of ABC (including Licensing Division and Administration Division) which require a great deal of coordination and planning. The ITS I provides technical expertise in all aspects of development and testing. The incumbent works on multiple ABC systems to extract data and create intelligible reports to mature the departments report delivery using BI tools and techniques.
This position requires the incumbent maintain consistent and regular attendance; communicate effectively and professionally (both orally and in writing); develop and maintain knowledge and skills, methodologies, materials, tools, and equipment; complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner; and adhere to all departmental policies and procedures.
Position requires less than 5% travel to district offices.

Working Conditions
If the employee is working at an alternate work location during telework, they are required to maintain a safe working condition at the approved site, abide by the Departments Telework Policy and Ergonomic Policy, and agree to maintain a distraction-free remote work environment. Further, employees are required to be available through various forms of communication during work hours.
