JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Information Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team here in Hauppauge, NY and modernize our company. We are a fast paced, growing manufacturing company in need of an IT guru. This role is essential in supporting our organization’s technology infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of IT and Manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities
  • Help Desk support for the team for day to day needs
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) experience that will help to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and innovation
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across the organization.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems, applications, and network equipment.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive IT policies and procedures that ensure system integrity, cybersecurity compliance, and alignment with current technology standards
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and enhance security measures.
  • Train staff on new technologies and software applications to improve efficiency.
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  • Generate and maintain detailed technical and operational reports using internal systems and tools to support data-driven decision-making and compliance requirements.
    Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-5 years proven experience as an IT Specialist, Help Desk or similar role.
  • AI capabilities that will enhance automation, data analytics, collaboration tools and security.
  • Manufacturing Environment Experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and telecommunications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

  • Some travel may be required to support Multi-State Operation (NY& TX)
