Description General Summary of Duties To provide quality service to internal and external members/customers. To perform all job task functions assigned to the position. Essential Job Functions Perform operational duties and troubleshoot problems with department equipment. Report errors, abnormalities, and out of balance conditions to supervisor immediately. Maintain functional knowledge of online systems and all software used in the department, including the process to follow if the system goes down. Assist supervisor to ensure maximum efficiencies in department, coordinate the flow of member traffic to ensure members are serviced in an efficient manner utilizing available staff; and maintaining and updating departmental policies/procedures and manuals. Maintain an update of department work status and ensure supervisor is updated on the same. Assist auditors/vendors/alarm technicians as required. Schedule/monitor lunch periods and breaks. Communicate management assignments and directives to employees as required. Perform job tasks outlined above using the following equipment: printers, backup devices, tape drives, PC’s, phone lines, networks. Assure all scheduled jobs are run according to established guidelines and procedures and all necessary document types are copied to the Imaging system. Perform remedial hardware maintenance on personal computers, printers, and any other repairs necessary to maintain maximum systems up time. Execute installation and testing of major personal computer components as assigned; execute removal, repair and installation of computer equipment as assigned. Request changes to checklist as needed. Verify and oversee resources of the computer system are sufficient for scheduled processing to be completed as assigned. Assist in preparing IT schedules. Complete daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual scheduling. Sort and deliver reports. Complete daily and monthly checklists. Monitor all computer equipment including peripherals. Assist and solve problems with hardware and software. Perform routine cleaning of IT equipment. Carry laptop and cell phone as needed. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Maintain knowledge of and follow the established process for key control, security, and the security of all codes and procedures related to office security. Open and close office by disarming and arming alarms, as established procedures require. Maintain total working knowledge of department. Complete necessary logs. Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of credit union policies/procedures that are necessary for performing job duties, including but not limited to Negotiable Instrument Reference & Guidelines, NACHA, BSA, and OFAC. Requirements Standards Perform all job tasks/functions as assigned and/or directed; according to policy, procedures and standards; always use Service/Sales plus skills; meet all cross-sell and productivity standards as set by management; and read/respond to all communications (voice mail/email/message board) communications in a timely fashion. Speak before an audience with poise, voice control, and confidence, using correct English and well-modulated voice. Position Specific Competencies Must have good keyboard skills. Minimum Qualifications Education: Two years of college education with computer science classes or equivalent training. Experience: Minimum one year of information technology experience. Licenses/Certifications: Must attain all required licenses and/or certifications to perform duties of position.
