JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for end-to-end quality assurance for a variety of assigned Infotainment features. Track feature development in Jira and align timing of required quality assurance activities. Develop test plans by leveraging DevQA test cases and creating new test cases. Manage calibration CRs to ensure that effective testing can be executed. Collaborate with test automation engineers to develop test methods that enable test script development. Collaborate with test script development engineers to automate test plans. Monitor weekly test execution and support Issue triage with test execution and software development engineers. Support new feature integration testing. Provide regular status updates and PVCL signoff for assigned features. Telecommuting available 2 days a week.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study. Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Senior Test Engineer, Verification Engineer, or related occupation. Must also have experience with: Five (5) years of experience in the following: Engineering experience with wired and wireless connectivity including USE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, Near Field communication, phone integration including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Baidu CarLife, and Networking Technologies; Automotive infotainment system operation; and Vehicle Electrical Architecture and Subsystem/Features In the infotainment domain. Three (3) years of experience in the following: infotainment Operating Systems such as Android, Linux and QNX; and Experience with LAN/CAN vehicle communication system and CAN based monitoring tools. One (1) year of experience in the following: Embedded automotive modules.
