Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) aligning with business objectives.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the entire technology stack, from network to application layers.
• Lead the architecture and integration of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, WAF, and endpoint protection.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential threats.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10–15 years of overall IT experience, starting with hands-on engineering roles.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in design or architecture within areas such as solutions, infrastructure, network, or security.
• Act as the technical focal point for complex network and security design and solution initiatives.
• Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the evaluation and implementation of network and security products/solutions.
• Extensive experience in Enterprise Security Architecture, Security Strategy, and Compliance Consulting.
• Experience in creating and auditing security best practices and implementing security principles across the organization to meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks such as ISO, PCI DSS, NESA, and similar standards.
• Experience in designing security controls and performing product fit-gap analysis to ensure end-to-end security across:
  • Layered Security
  • Security Zoning
  • Integration Architecture
  • API Security
  • Endpoint Security
  • Data Security
  • Compliance & Regulatory Controls
  • Threat Intelligence
  • Threat Exposure & Incident Management
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CSRIC, TOGAF, or SABSA are preferred.
• Good understanding and hands-on experience in implementing Cloud Security Controls.
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS.
• Good understanding of Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies such as Cisco ACI.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, SOAP protocols, and Web Services.
• Good understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with multi-vendor firewalls and security technologies including:
  • Firewalls
  • Web Proxies
  • Email Security Gateways
  • Endpoint Security Solutions
• Knowledge and experience in maintaining requirements traceability throughout the design phase, including functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into solution, feature, component, and service architecture designs.
• Understanding of how business structures and functions relate to service architecture and delivery.
• Ability to create both High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for individual components or end-to-end services.
• Experience conducting or participating in code reviews, identifying root causes of defects, and implementing effective solutions.
• Active participation in technical communities and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues in software components, infrastructure, and automation scripts across different environments.
